12"x16" horizontal oil painting on linen on board.  I painted this on site during a paint out (plein air) at the winery on a crisp, breezy autumn morning.  It was so breezy that I had to keep one hand at all time on my easel so it did not blow over!  I was drawn to the blueish purple dappled light on the white house next to the firey red tree.  Sooooo beautiful!
