8"x10" horizontal oil painting on stretched linen  I painted this at a paint out, at the Pinelands Center in NJ!   It was a cool May morning and it had been raining and was winding to a drizzle when I began to paint.  The colors were a mix of Spring greens but all muted with the weather.  The apple tree in the distance caught my eye with its sea of white blossoms which seemed to glow.  The feeling was...well...sublime.
